ROB RUN codes E-0501 and E-0502 mean Easy Anti-Cheat is not running correctly, is damaged, or is being blocked by other software. Kefir’s troubleshooting route uses a Steam launch, verification of the game files and a PC restart, with security software considered as a possible blocker.
An EAC startup error is not, by itself, proof of an account ban. Record the full message and follow the startup checks below instead of treating every anti-cheat message as the same outcome.
Confirm that the code belongs to EAC
Read the complete error window, including its code. This page concerns the two E-050x codes listed in the developer’s help center. Authentication codes such as E-0401 or E-0403 have different Steam/EOS checks.
Our recommendation is to keep a screenshot before closing the window. If the error appears only after a particular launch method or software change, record that context as well. It is evidence for support, not enough to establish the cause on its own.
Launch through Steam and verify files
Use the ROB RUN entry in your Steam library rather than launching an arbitrary executable directly. The official error article specifies Steam as the launch route. Then use Properties → Installed Files → Verify integrity of game files to check the installed content.
Kefir also prescribes a PC restart for these EAC errors. After completing the relevant checks, launch through Steam again and compare the exact message with the original screenshot. If the code has changed, return to the error-code hub rather than assuming the same fix still applies.
Investigate a security-software block carefully
The developer’s EAC instructions mention antivirus interference and include stopping antivirus as a troubleshooting step. A more controlled first comparison is to inspect its blocking or quarantine report for the trusted game installation. If you choose to test the developer’s temporary security-software step, restore protection after the test.
This page does not recommend leaving protection disabled, bypassing EAC or installing unofficial replacement services. Those actions are not the same as repairing the supported Steam installation. Keep any alert text, filename and test result so support can assess the specific conflict.

Prepare an EAC-specific support report
Kefir’s separate EAC article requests a screenshot and UID. You can find the UID by pressing Esc: it appears on the right under your character name, with a Copy UID button. If startup fails before that screen is accessible, tell support that you could not retrieve it.
Add whether Steam was used, whether verification completed, whether the PC was restarted and whether security software reported a block. These additional details are our reporting checklist. Do not publish account credentials or private screenshots in a public troubleshooting thread.

Know the limits of this workflow
Easy Anti-Cheat is the game’s anti-cheat protection, and the developer states that cheating can result in a permanent ban. Repairing a startup issue is a separate task from contesting an account action. This guide cannot inspect either your installation or account status.
No service-repair command, guaranteed fix or ban appeal outcome is asserted here. If the supported launch and verification route fails, the next useful step is the documented report to official support.
